The Rev. Tori Mullin is a United Church minister passionate about helping children and families explore faith with wonder and joy. Last Spring, Tori and the amazing group behind BibleWoolies launched a free web app for children ages 3-6 that brings biblical stories alive with games, stories and songs. Created to be engaging, while highlighting United Church values, BibleWoolies shares voices and stories from across the church.
In this webinar, Tori discusses the joys and challenges of developing and carrying out children and youth ministry. Tori also attending past Moderator The Very Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne’s (Re)Generate program and incorporating the energy from that experience into their children and youth ministry and the BibleWoolies project.
“The Church is talking about Toward 2035,” Tori says. “Who are the children who will be teenagers in 2035? Do they feel like we’re setting that trusting foundation that they’ll feel like they can bring their questions, ideas, concerns, and identities into those spaces?. “
