Investing in your Congregation
Today we wanted to highlight an incredible act of stewardship and generosity: St. John’s Stevensville United Church – located just south of Niagara Falls, Ontario – has recently entrusted the United Church of Canada Foundation with the first million dollars of what will become a $10 million endowment!
St. John’s Stevensville contemplated their future, thinking on how they would continue serving their community, remain a trusted and sacred place for worship, and how they could be prepared for costs related to their church building and administration.
After prayerfully considering their options, St. John’s Stevensville has decided to establish three endowment funds at the United Church of Canada Foundation, each dedicated to supporting the vital work of their church. We work with congregations like St. John’s Stevensville to invest, protect, and manage major assets of a congregation. We are truly blessed to be working with St. John’s Stevensville and are very excited to see how the funds will sustain their important work into the future!
