Upcoming Webinar – Coffee with Adele Halliday: Building on Our History
Something is brewing!
Introducing our “Coffee With” web series! A new way of inviting you into the work of various movers and shakers across the United Church of Canada. Timely, relevant, and intimate, these half-hour webinar sessions are easy to fit into your lunch hour or coffee break! We hope you’re as excited as we are to hear from our incredible line-up of guests!
Join us to kick off the series on March 21 at 12 PM EST with the webinar ‘Coffee With: Adele Halliday‘. This is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, so what a blessing to welcome Adele, the United Church Anti-Racism and Equity Lead on this important day! Adele is an experienced anti-racism educator, workshop leader, and award-winning writer. She has been engaged in anti-oppression work with churches in Canada and beyond for many years. Additionally, she currently serves as co-moderator of the World Council of Churches’ Reference Group on Overcoming Racism and Xenophobia.
In this webinar “Coffee With: Adele Halliday – Building on Our History: Our Continued Work on Becoming an Anti-Racist Church‘, Adele will share the latest on the church’s anti-racism commitment and the work moving us towards racial justice.
See you (and your coffee!) on March 21. Register below to save your place at the webinar Coffee With: Adele Halliday!
