The Rev. Jamie Holtom has been a Minister at North Bramalea United Church in Brampton, ON for over twenty-five years. He enjoys being part of a vital congregation that continues to grow and experience the transformation of Jesus’ love for all people.
Jim Christian is a founder and CEO of Cornerstone Building and Property Services Inc., a construction and project management firm. Jim and his wife attend North Bramalea United Church, where they are actively involved in various ministries led by Jamie.
In this webinar, Jamie and Jim discuss their book Grind Don’t Quit, sharing real stories and practical strategies for developing grit and resilience in life’s most challenging moments.
Jamie and Jim co-authored Grind Don’t Quit with the hope of inspiring readers to persevere through life’s toughest moments. They both believe that the inner strength to “grind, don’t quit” comes from a relationship with Jesus, while also recognizing the importance of taking personal responsibility in that journey.
“We’re two people of faith,” Jamie says. “So it was impossible for us to write something that doesn’t include faith or God in it. There’s a chapter about the source of our resiliency and really speaking about that role that God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, plays in enabling us to do what we’re called to do. “
