Upcoming Webinar – Coffee With Mitchell Anderson
Mark you calendars for Coffee With Mitchell Anderson on November 20, at 12 PM ET!
We are excited to welcome Rev. Mitchell Anderson to our Coffee With webinar series on November 20 at 12PM ET!
Mitchell Anderson is lead minister of St. Paul’s United Church in Saskatoon, one of the fastest growing United Churches in the country. Mitchell holds an MBA and was part of (Re)Generate, former Moderator Carmen Lansdowne’s leadership accelerator. He is passionate about sharing the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ with new people and renewing the church through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In a denomination stuck in narratives of decline, St. Paul’s believes in renewing the church to reach new people, and has grown 70% in the last 5 years. However, with growth comes real challenges, of identity, direction, and structure. Using the tools and space from (Re)Generate, Mitchell and St. Paul’s developed a new growth plan with a bold vision: to double the size of their congregation by 2030 in order to double the impact they can have for their neighbours.
Don’t miss the chance to learn more about their work!
In this webinar, Mitchell will speak about his experience at (Re)Generate and the capstone which was around leading their church to continued healthy growth. He’ll also share about St. Paul’s’ outreach ministries Muffin Mornings, the growth grant they received to support their digital ministry, and his part in creating the Blazing Walnuts Endowment Fund. Register below!
Our Coffee With series is a new way of inviting you into the work of various movers and shakers across the United Church of Canada. Timely, relevant, and intimate, these half-hour webinar sessions are easy to fit into your lunch hour or coffee break!
